Founded in 1956 in Hamburg / Germany, re-named in 1975, dph was able to specialize itself over the years in different field of activities, in some of them representing a leading role worldwide.

This website is dedicated to our Packaging Segment in which we have been able to accumulate an expertise of more then 30 years.

The dph Group comprises a number of German trading companies based in Cologne, Germany with branch offices presently in:

dph provides packaging solutions ranging from a single tea bagging machine to a complete tea bagging production line. The lines comprise the carton erecting unit, conveyor system, the tea bag machines, the lid closing unit and the cellophaning machines with the master case packers. We also offer packaging solutions for loose tea.

Materials, such as filterpapers, envelopes & tags, cotton strings and aluminium staples, needed for the packaging is also delivered to our markets from us. In addition to all above dph provides consultancy on factory lay-out's to improve ecological standards and efficiency.

dph offers used & pre-owned machines being re-checked and if needed partly and/or completely refurbished in its own workshops and developes finance schemes in form of either compensation trades or of the lease of machines at the customers site.

Company Overview

1956-1962
The company was founded in 1956 under the name SKP GmbH (Sadegh & Kazem Pirouz) in Hamburg/ Germany. SKP started trading with Tea, Dried Fruits and other commodities.

1963-1975
After the company established itself in the German market it was re-named to Deutsch-Persische Handelsgesellschaft GmbH (DPH).The activities of the company were focusing on packaging (teabagging machineries) , textile and metalworking machines.

1976-1991
This period was characterised by setting up an international network, co-operating with liaison offices in the USA, The Netherlands, Iran, Hongkong and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

1992-2004
Through the international expansion that had taken place and the accumulated experience in different sectors the company saw potential to expand into engineered products such as automotives. The Tea Packaging Machinery sector became a separate cornerstone of the company. At the end of 2004 a group of companies( dph group) was formed.

• Automotive products that includes fbu and ckd/skd buses, trucks, automobiles, motorcycles as well as spare parts and components.
• Packaging machinery includes a range of tea bagging machines up to complete tea packing lines inclusive all materials needed. Additionally engineering service is provides as well as factory lay-outs and creative finance schemes.
• Trading consists mainly of the food, agricultural goods and metals.
• Financing is mainly in the form of compensation trade/ barter&counter trades and project financing.
• Consulting includes project management in different sectors, such as in the IT sector.

During the above periods the company had established itself in its sectors and successfully integrated markets in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Outlook: dph group intends to focus on all above mentioned activities and to expand its segments to leading positions.
